There was a time when CIA and I were discussion Dandelions – and I was thinking of the example on the right, and she the example on the left. It’s only at this point we were intrigued and/or confused enough to look up and discover that we were both wrong, and both right.
Lovely pictures. (And thanks for the pingback.)
Dandelions were my son’s favorite flower when he was a toddler. Once, as a favor, my father mowed the lawn for me while I was at work. When we arrived home, I said “Oh how nice. Grandpa took care of the yard for me this week!” My son burst into tears: “But he killed all the yellow flowers and now there is nothing but grass!” Truth was, there wasn’t much without the dandelions but, until I moved to the woods, I always seemed to live in neighborhoods where green grass was highly prized over the so-called “weeds”!
Great transformation.
Perfect, Anne!

Lovely lion’s tooth. 🙂
Cleverly done Anne.
Oh I like the two photos posted like this! In Dutch this is a ‘paardenbloem’, so a horse flower.
