It was very hot; then the rain quenched the flowers.

Snapdragons are one of my favorite flowers.

The first memory I have of gardening is with my Grandfather, planting snapdragons by the side of my mother's house, in rock-hard soil.

I love the delicate blossoms, and the raindrops gently dripping off the edge of the leaf.

I don't have too many places for flowers because of lack of sunlight, but I can have my pot of snapdragons. They always make me return to thoughts of my childhood, in the garden with Grandpa.
