Ingredients for a perfect breakfast: A cup of java, a slice of orange, a book, served on the deck while listening to the gulls and the surf. I could do this every morning.
But, if I didn’t have the beach, or the sun — or even the fresh fruit — it would still be near perfect with a cup of coffee and a book.

I am sooooo there.
Excellent.
Yes, please leave a space for me too….
Heaven is……
Ahhh, looks like heaven to me!
Sigh. My parents are basically demanding I make it down to St. Pete beach this year for my dad’s 70th birthday and while part of me is resentful of this “demand” the other is secretly grateful, so I can experience similar mornings with my dad for a week!
Oh, but think about looking over that beautiful blue water. It’s always nice to have a change of pace — even if it is their plans, not yours. And, think about doing something absolutely ridiculous for no reason other than “just because”, like wearing funny mustaches to the Dalí Museum where even if you & your Dad don’t like the artwork, you can laugh at just being silly!
What a wonderful way to spend the morning.
Oh it was! Coffee, oranges, a book, hubby near by to share a thought or a smile. I love vacation time!
Looks absolutly perfect to me…
Hugs~
Thanks for stopping by & commenting Linda!
Oooooh! What time is lunch?
Beach-time is always non-specific — and quite adaptable for visitors and friends.
I’ll be right over!!
