A meditation on a Fall afternoon


Discouragement: When you look at the big pile of leaves and realize that you still have several hours of work left to do — and there are still leaves in the trees!  

On a brighter side:  I don’t have any grass to cut during the summer.

  1. So true! One good thing about Hurricane Sandy – she seems to be clearing the tress so we’ll only have to clean the lawn and gutters once more!! ;-)

      Too funny, Jeannie! As I headed to the pool this morning, I thought I was feeling that pain when I realized that last night’s rain brought down more leaves, nearly covering the driveway again. But, it was in the pool where I felt it: I felt that pain in my arms!
