It’s not that I don’t want to share my process, but I’m not sure that I can tell you how I got to this end. I started with a rather blah photograph taken of a chandelier. I used a variety of filters in Photoshop Elements and Snapseed. I’m not certain what I used to add my signature — probably PSE. I added the grey border using Picmonkey.com. I’m just learning Photoshop Elements, so mostly I was just experimenting with the various “artistic” filters. I used snapseed to change the saturation and hue in specific locations. I’m sure that I can do that in PSE, but I don’t know how yet. I tried to use layers but felt that I was less than successful with that. The only filters I remember specifically using were the ones to make it look like colored pencils and one to make it look like paint applied with a palette knife. That alone, however, would not have created this look. The finished product looks nothing like the refractions of light in the original photograph.
Very interesting abstract. I like to colors and their subtly. I would be interested in your process.
